“成氣候”的英文表達(dá)可不是become climate，這個(gè)詞用來(lái)比喻有成就或有發(fā)展前途，所以在英語(yǔ)中常用make good來(lái)表示。

You can never make any good.

你永遠(yuǎn)也成不了氣候。

逞能

出洋相

“出洋相”常用來(lái)形容人因?yàn)闊o(wú)知、失誤等鬧出笑話，在別人看來(lái)就像演戲一樣熱鬧有趣，所以可用create a scene表示。

As a new comer,Jim creates scenes now and then.

吉姆是新來(lái)的，時(shí)不時(shí)就會(huì)出洋相。
