我們的日常生活中總會(huì)遇到這樣的表達(dá)：
“你看起來(lái)二十多歲的樣子”
“班里大概有二十多個(gè)人”
“步行到學(xué)校需要二十多分鐘”
那么你知道“二十多歲”英文怎么說(shuō)？
①twenty something
（something 作代詞表示大致，左右）
他二十多歲了可以說(shuō)：
He is twenty something years old
也可以直接說(shuō)成：He is twenty something
20多個(gè)人=twenty something people
100多美元=one hundred something dollars
②I'm in my 20s.(twenties)
這是最簡(jiǎn)單的表達(dá)
in one‘s ＋基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)形式
20多歲也分前期，中期，晚期
二十多歲出頭（前期）=I'm in my early 20s.
二十多歲中期=I'm in my mid-20s.
奔三（二十多歲晚期）=I'm in my late 20s.
再舉個(gè)例子：
My mother is fifty something years old,
so she will retire in a few years.
我媽媽現(xiàn)在五十多了，所以她過(guò)幾年就要退休了。
①描述準(zhǔn)確年齡的時(shí)候：
1）be + 具體年齡的數(shù)字+years old
2)at the age of ……
The headmaster is at the age of forty.
校長(zhǎng)今年40歲了。
②描述大概年齡的時(shí)候（幾十多歲了）
1)in one's ＋基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)形式
2)年齡的英文 + something
③超過(guò)多少歲的時(shí)候：past
My grandfather is past seventy.
我爺爺年過(guò)七十了。
④不滿多少歲
barely/nearly/just+具體年齡
My niece is barely seventeen.
我的侄女還不滿17歲。
⑤差……到多少歲：
off
His son is three months off eighteen．
他兒子差三個(gè)月滿18歲。
⑥快滿多少歲
1）be getting on for +具體年齡
2）someone will be+具體年齡+years old
He will be sixteen years old．
他快滿十六歲了。
當(dāng)基數(shù)詞表示不確切數(shù)字
如成百、成千上萬(wàn)，三三兩兩時(shí)
基數(shù)詞則以復(fù)數(shù)形式出現(xiàn)
好幾百的 = hundreds of
好幾百塊 = hundreds of yuan
類似的
好幾萬(wàn)= tens of thousands of
好幾萬(wàn)塊 = tens of thousands of Yuan
（ten 和 thousand 都要加 s ）
英文里沒有"萬(wàn)"這個(gè)單位
1萬(wàn) = 10千= ten thousand
