語(yǔ)言文字的改動(dòng)，絕不單純是形式上的修改，要考慮到文章內(nèi)容的表達(dá)。文字乃至標(biāo)點(diǎn)的任何改動(dòng)，都會(huì)涉及文章內(nèi)容不同程度的變更。首先，檢查用詞是否妥貼，每個(gè)句子是否正確地表達(dá)了內(nèi)容。其次，刪去可有可無(wú)的詞、句，只有這樣文意才能豁達(dá)、醒目。最后，調(diào)整或增補(bǔ)文字，使文章更加清楚、暢達(dá)。語(yǔ)言方面的問題可由教師直接在文章中作出改動(dòng)。下面是美國(guó)中學(xué)英語(yǔ)課本 English Grammar and Composition提供的一份Checklist，可供老師們批改作文時(shí)參考。① Does the outline clearly and logically develop the subject？② Does every idea stick to the subject and carry out the purpose？③ Is the composition properly divided into well－constructed paragraphs？④In developing each paragraph，has the author been generous with interesting，specific details？⑤ Are the paragraphs properly tied together with linking expressions？⑥Are all of the sentences clear， grammatically correct，and varied？⑦ Are the punctuation and spelling accurate？⑧ Can the choice of words be improved？
