7月28日臺風(fēng)杜蘇芮”在福建晉江沿海登陸，7月29日以來，河北中南部和東部、北京大部、天津、山西中東部、河南大部、山東中西部及半島北部等地出現(xiàn)了大到暴雨，（過程累計降雨量250～998.1毫米），大部地區(qū)最大小時雨強20～50毫米，局地超過80毫米。

From 8 am Monday to 8 am Tuesday, heavy downpours and rainstorms are forecast in Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Hainan according to the NMC. Some parts of these regions are forecast to experience heavy rainfall, with maximum hourly precipitation surpassing 100 to 220 millimeters, accompanied by thunderstorms and gales.

這個詞起源于一個希臘神話人物的名字提豐（Typhon），之前的中國人還沒有“臺風(fēng)”這一說法，只是粵語里，人們常把“大風(fēng)”念成 /daaih-fung/ 和typhoon的發(fā)音有點類似，于是“中西合璧”成現(xiàn)在臺風(fēng)的英文。

常見的臺風(fēng)英文表達(dá)有：

臺風(fēng)（Typhoon）

颶風(fēng)（Hurricane）

旋風(fēng)（Cyclones）

其實都是熱帶氣旋（Tropical storms）

只是形成的位置不同
