力不從心是指我們的意愿和我們的能力之間出現(xiàn)了一種無法調(diào)和的矛盾，

使我們感到無法實現(xiàn)自己的目標，

無論我們付出多大的努力。

這種困境在我們的日常生活中是經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的，因此，理解它的性質(zhì)和影響，以及如何應對它，是非常重要的。

那么，如何用英文表達：“力不從心”呢？

(1) out of one's depth “感覺超出本身的能力，

無法駕馭，無法勝任，力不從心”

英語解釋為to be involved in a situation or activity that is too difficult for you to 

understand or deal with。

 be out of one's depth at sth. “......超出本身能力，對......力不從心”

例

I thought you might be a little out of your depth there.

我覺得那案子你會有點力不從心。

When the police are out of their depth, 

which is always, they consult me.

警察力不從心時，

這事常常發(fā)生，就會來咨詢我?！渡裉较穆蹇恕?/p>

還可以使用：

one’s ability falling short of one's wishes

或

be unable to do what one would like to do”。

又或者是：

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”來表示“心有余而力不足”、 “力不從心”

有時候，“the spirit is willing”和“the flesh is weak”可以單獨使用。

引申義“很容易做到的事，小菜一碟”

英語解釋為to be very easy。

2. cakewalk “易如反掌的事情，

輕而易舉的勝利”

英語解釋為a very easy thing to do, 

or a very easy victory。

as easy as pie 的意思表達和 a piece of cake 很相似。

容易的事情。是一個美國俚語。

比如說：It's a no-brainer solution.

這是一個顯而易見的解決方案。

我眼睛閉起來都能做！這是略微夸張的表達方式，

就比如我們平時嚷嚷的“我用腳趾頭想都知道”效果差不多吧~

那一點都不難！

no sweat 在之前的例句中也碰到過。是一種非常形象的表達方法。

做一件事情完全不用出汗，絲毫不費力，豈不是說明這件事情很簡單?

沒什么難的！

10. It's a cinch !

簡單的很！cinch 作為俚語，解釋為簡單的事情，有把握的事情。

比如說：The examination was a cinch.

那可是對我來說是很有把握的事。

11. It's as easy as ABC.

太容易了!

ABC指的是（某一方面的）基礎知識，入門。

比如說：The new manager doesn't even know the ABC's of computers.
