我們都知道“好吃”是delicious，或者是更加形象的yummy，那么偶爾碰到不合口的菜色，我們應(yīng)該怎樣用英語準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)呢？
1.“It tastes...” 吃起來……
“吃起來...”的句式是It tastes...，只需要后面補(bǔ)充上恰當(dāng)?shù)脑~匯就可以，換句話來說，“難吃”我們就可以說吃起來“不好”，比如：
“It tastes bad.”
“It doesn't taste good.”
“It tastes horrible.”
……
這些表示“東西難吃”的表達(dá)在國外很常見。
其實(shí)除了用這樣一個(gè)完成的句子表達(dá)出來之外，外國人經(jīng)常也會(huì)脫口而出一些感嘆詞。比如“eww”、“ick”、“yuck”等等。
例句：
"Eww, this milk has gone bad!"
"哎呀，這牛奶變質(zhì)了！"
"Ick, I don't like the smell of this perfume."
"嘖，我不喜歡這款香水的味道。"
"Yuck, this soup tastes terrible!"
"呃，這湯太難喝了！"
另外，還有這些形容詞同樣可以表示“難吃”：
2.表示“難吃的”形容詞
① The food was awful. 這食物糟糕透頂。
② I won't be going there again in a hurry ─ the food was terrible.
我再不愿去那里了——那里吃的東西糟透了。
③ It tasted disgusting.
這味道令人作嘔。disgusting才是形容詞，disgust是動(dòng)詞或名詞。
④ The patties taste horrible!
肉餅的味道糟透了！taste還有“鑒賞力，審美力；品位”的意思，所以horrible taste也有“品味糟糕”的含義。
⑤ Oh, the food here is just dreadful.
這的食物很難吃。dreadful /?dred.f?l/，形容“可怕的，糟糕的”，主要在美國使用。
⑥ At Billy's Cafe, the menu is limited and the food is lousy.
比利咖啡館的菜品選擇有限，食物也很差。lousy /?la?.zi/是個(gè)口語詞匯，意思是說“糟糕的，差勁的”。
⑦ This coffee has a nasty taste.
這咖啡真難喝。nasty /?nɑ?.sti/，意思是“糟糕的；令人不快的，讓人討厭的”。
如果說上面的形容詞表示的是整體的感受，想表示更具體的難吃，你還可以這么說：
3.表示“難吃的”具體表達(dá)
1）tasteless&flavourless
tasteless和flavourless都是表示沒有味道而“難吃”，著重于“味淡的；無味的”。
flavourless是英式英語拼寫，美式英語的拼寫是flavorless。
例句：
The meat was dry and tasteless.
這塊肉干巴巴的，沒有味道
grapes are completely flavourless.
這些葡萄一點(diǎn)兒味道也沒有。
2）undercooked
undercooked指的是“未煮熟的，欠火候的”，這種情況下可能味道差只是小問題，一不小心容易吃壞肚子啊。
例句：
To make a nice soft cookie they should be slightly undercooked.
要做出好吃的軟餅干，就應(yīng)該略微欠些火候。
3）inedible
inedible是C1水平詞匯，意思是not suitable as food，也就是“不可食用的，不適合食用的”，用這個(gè)詞來形容食物的味道，那得是有多難以下咽啊.
