改天吧，如果光看表面翻譯，
那就直譯成change another day。
這樣翻譯其實有很大問題，
change是改變的意思，
但是change后面往往跟的是改變的東西，
如果改變另一天，
那就說不通了，
其實英文中是想說，改變"到"另外一天，
而不是改變另一天。
這個"到"字必須翻譯出來，
所以要改成change it to another day.
這里的it指約定好的時間或日子。

“take a rain check”字面意思是“拿一張雨票”。
短語起源來自美國的棒球文化，

由此衍生出了 take a rain check，
使用在將約定改期的情況下。

the other day不是改天
the other day = not long ago，
意思是幾天前、不久以前。
而another day意思是改天、又一天、新的一天。
活到明天就可以說live to see / fight another day。
例句：
The other day, he cut the grass on his samll lawn.
幾天前，他才修理完院子里的草坪。
white day不是白天
white day 才不是白天的意思呢？
實際上 white day = White Valentine s Day，
是白色情人節(jié)的縮寫。
還可以表示良辰吉日，
white 是幸福的、吉利的意思。
白天正確的表達(dá)方式是 by day，
夜里就是 by night。
要注意，加了 the 意思就變了！
by the day 是按天計算，
隨著時間的意思。
