1. too:具有肯定意義,當(dāng)相鄰的兩個肯定句所敘述的事實相同時,后句末尾常用too表示“(后者)也……”。如:Jim likes red. I like red,too.吉姆喜歡紅色,我也喜歡。You may have a try,too.你也可以試一試。2. either:在否定句中,常用either表示“(后者)也(不)……”。如:If he doesn t go, I won t either.如果他不去,我也不去。It won t do them any good, but it won t do them any harm either.這對他們沒什么好處,但也沒有什么害處。3. also:含較莊重色彩,通常用于主要動詞之前,但若主要動詞是be,則置于其后。如:They also agree with me.他們也同意我的意見。I was also there.我也在那兒。4. so:用于代替上文中的形容詞、名詞或動詞,當(dāng)一句話說完之后,接著一句用倒裝結(jié)構(gòu),表示“(后者)也……”。如:Mary is very happy and so is everyone else in her birthday party.在瑪莉的生日宴會上,她非常高興,其他人也非常愉快。5. as well:常用于句末,意為“也;還”。如:He speaks English, and he knows French as well.他說英語,也懂法語。
